Asians are 60% more Susceptible to Diabetes: where to get cheaper diabetes supplies

As countries get more affluent, so do their diets: rich in calories, rich in fat, rich in sugary drinks. Most children I know don’t even drink water anymore. They start drinking sodas (or even fruit juices is bad) as early as toddlerhood (my word) and they get so used to the sweetness, water becomes something unpalatable.
For first generation families who have tasted a modicum of financial success, they can’t help but indulge the children thinking that these were the things they were deprived of as children themselves. But not only are they spoiling the children’s palates, they are also spoiling their health.
If they are Asians, the scenario is doubly compounded because the genetic make-up of Asians cannot withstand the same amount of sugar that White people do. Asians are more likely to get diabetes by as much as 60% regardless of their weight. So Asian children as young as 9 or 10 in America, exposed to a mountain of junkfood and sugary drinks and tuned to believe they are good by the $10 Billion dollar marketing industry, are being diagnosed as diabetic.
For White people in America, the numbers are becoming just as bad because of the extremely high obesity rates, especially in the Midwest and the West Coast. In California, its hard to find someone who is actually slender. And as more and more people think obesity is OK because so many people are, diabetic cases are shooting through the roof. Today 1 in 3 Americans are diabetic and the Chinese in the mainland are catching up.
This is a health crisis of enormous proportions as today there are already 246 million people with diabetes world wide. What’s worse, most of these people don’t have health insurance and the disease is a lifelong threat that can severely affect one’s eyes, kidneys, feet, and slow down healing for any wounds to the point that they never actually heal.
And the very very very worst part of it all is that hospitals make boatloads of money if you are diabetic and lose money if they prevent you from getting it. I’ll let you make your own conclusions. Watch your diet, watch your weight, get moving!
NOTE: For those who are already diabetic, save some money by buying wholesale diabetic supplies. Products for blood testing such as the One Touch Ultra Strips can be as much as 35% less than in retail stores.
